Rosewood Carriage is the only incorporated carriage company in northern Indiana and a family owned and operated business. We take pride in offering safe and excellent services to all customers. Our white Vis-à-vis carriages can be transported to your location and completely enclosed to protect passengers from cold weather if need be. Our carriages are made right here in Shipshewana Indiana! Each carriage seats 4 adults plus 2-3 small children. Our large draft horses pull each carriage driven by an experienced coachman will escort you to enjoy your slow placed carriage ride in a fast-paced world!
Weddings and other special Events: Weddings and events in the immediate downtown area. More carriages can be added to serve your wedding party or guests as well as can be transported to your location should it not be located in downtown Fort Wayne. We have worked closely with many different facilities and reception halls over the years and can work out details that best suit your needs. Contact us for arrangements, questions, and concerns. Downtown Fort Wayne Tours: Tours start at Don Hall’s Gas House/Takaoka of Japan located at 305 East Superior Street in downtown. We do offer other pickup locations if scheduled in advance. We can add additional carriages to better suit larger parties, families, or groups.

Saying goodbye is never easy, but we provide a unique and memorable way to bring comfort and honor to this moment. Our service offers “One Last Beautiful Ride” to create a positive memory from a difficult time, ensuring a lasting tribute to their legacy.
Our fully enclosed, intricately hand-designed black hearse is accompanied by our experienced horseman and tranquil horses, serving within a 3-hour travel radius. Contact us for questions, or to coordinate with your funeral director.
